November 14, 2019
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Once again, we will collaborate with the Baguio City Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for our annual “Twelve Days of Christmas” activity. This year’s activity will benefit some 59 children from various Day Care Centers in the Baguio area.
For twelve school days starting on November 20, every Lower School student is asked to bring a specified item for the bag that he/she will later personally give to one of the children. The school will provide the gift bag.
May we ask that parents please only send in those items that are requested on each given date. This functions as a learning experience for our students as they take responsibility for keeping to a schedule. It also allows for easier processing on a daily basis by our teachers as they sort out items and determine those that might be missing. Also, to support our schoolwide goals on sustainable practices, we encourage you to purchase an eco-friendly option for the 1st item.
We are going to invite the children on to our campus on December 16, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. for a series of activities that will include a visit from Santa and the distribution of the gift bags.
The schedule of items to be brought to school each day is as follows:
|Day||1||Nov||20||kiddie toothbrush (preferably bamboo toothbrush)|
|3||22||6 small sachets of shampoo & comb|
|4||25||hand sanitizer (40-60 ml)|
|5||26||liquid vitamin C (60 ml)|
|6||27||coloring book and pack of 16 crayons|
|8||29||pack of powdered milk (150g)|
|9||DEC||2||pack of Milo (300g)|
|10||3||1 kilo of sugar|
|11||4||6 small sachets of shampoo & comb|
|12||5||toy or book (unisex – new or slightly used)|
Thank you very much for your support in this endeavor. God bless!
