Dear Brent family,
What a memorable and meaningful month of celebrating Brent@112: Grateful and Resilient!
We could not have done our month-long virtual celebrations if not for the strong Brentonian spirit that all our students, faculty, parents, staff, and administration have demonstrated! We are confident that despite our distance and challenges, our sense of community, family, and care for each other will continue to provide the support needed for a good finish this school year. Let’s persevere and carry on!
Here are some updates:
- We continue to cheer on our seniors towards a strong finish as they #EarntheGown.
Our seniors have worked diligently in their academic careers here at Brent International School Baguio. Their end of semester final assessments will be happening from April 27-May 4 and the following weeks are for graduation preparation as well as clearances.
Despite the obstacles they have faced, the class of 2021 is ever so close to achieving a huge milestone in their lives. It is important that they stay committed in these last few days of work on assessments and submit with quality in mind. As a symbol of inspiration and to remind our seniors of all they have accomplished so far, I give you our “#EarnTheGown – A Senior Segment”.
Beginning Tuesday, April 27 up until Tuesday May 4th, we have been highlighting a few students every school day, featuring some special reflections of the CORE courses that all Brent Baguio students complete, including reflections on their Creativity, Activity, and Service experiences, their Extended Essays, as well as their Theory of Knowledge lessons. Some other details on the student experience are provided in their reflections.
We hope you have been enjoying the segments so far. To our seniors, keep pushing! You are so close to completion and on the road to alumni status. It is finally time to finish strong and #EarnTheGown.
- Virtual Science Fair– An all-School virtual Assembly will be held on Wednesday, May 5 via Google Meet. After the assembly, you will be able to explore the individual work of students.
- Student clearances– Details on student clearances were sent out via a separate email to students and parents.
In creative and innovative ways through our Magic Mountain in the Cloud (MMC) Program, we continue to demonstrate that we are tolerant individuals, lifelong learners, technologically literate, critical thinkers, effective communicators, healthy individuals and responsible citizens.
Cheers to our dear Brent@112! We are grateful and resilient!
TGIF and stay safe and healthy, Bulldogs!
