Dear Brent family,

Leading up to the last three weeks of school, we are continuously striving to provide timely and clear updates that set everyone up for success. We will need to be even more prepared and ready to meet the rewarding and challenging year-end teaching and learning activities: courses and units are ending, summative assessments are underway, and everyone is hard at work in reaching the finish line.

STUCO Elections for Grade 5-11

All students in grades 5-11 were sent an invitation to a Google Classroom Thursday afternoon.  The Election for 2021-2022 STUCO officers will be held through this Google Classroom.  All students in grades 5-11 are asked to accept the invitation (they should check their email).  If a student did not receive an invitation, please have them contact Paul Engler.

IB Art Virtual Exhibit happening on Wednesday, May 12, 8 a.m.

We are excited and looking forward to the culmination of the two-year learning journey and creative experiences of our IB Art Senior class. All the best to Mr. Joseph Carvajal and our Art senior students:  Luis Fianza, Phoebe Ngales, Faith Orbeta, Lauren Rees, and Kevin Taguiba.  We will be having a special schedule for that day. End-of-semester Summative Assessment Submission Period for MS and US

A. Upper School-  The last day of teaching content is today, May 7. Below are specific submission dates and times for each subject.

  1. For Grades 9-10- May 10-21

  2. For Grade 11- May 14-21, Study Hall classes- May 10-13

During this submission period, classes will be structured in a Study Hall format with the following guidelines:

Students and teachers will report at regular class times, including homeroom. There will be no teaching of content or final quizzes

Structured time is facilitated by the teachers for:

  1. checking attendance,

  2. checking for well being,

  3. helping set individual students goals on what needs to be accomplished during the period, and

  4. providing guidance and accountability with their use of time.
