Dear Brent community,

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. As we embark on the school year 2023-2024, I am delighted to reinforce our unwavering commitment to the Brent Education Framework and this year’s inspiring theme, “Be an Encourager.”

Guided by these core principles, I have the utmost confidence that our collective efforts will continue to foster an environment where we inspire one another and collaborate as a close-knit learning community at Brent.

Our achievements so far have been remarkable, and I take great pride in how we have embraced traditions and initiatives, infusing them with genuine meaning and sincerity.

Additionally, I want to express my deep appreciation for our diverse and highly qualified teaching and support staff, whose dedication to our school’s mission and values remains unwavering.

To our returning students, your commitment to the Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLRs) amidst the challenges of these extraordinary times has been truly commendable. I am excited to witness your continued growth and development in the upcoming academic year.

To our new students, I extend a warm welcome and anticipate that this school year will be filled with countless opportunities for learning and self-discovery. May you find a sense of belonging and flourish here on our Magic Mountain.

I would also like to address our returning and new parents, whose partnership with us is invaluable in supporting your children both at school and at home. Your active involvement is what truly makes us a Brent family, united in our commitment to our mission, Brent Crest values, and ESLRs.

To our new staff, we are delighted to have you join the Brent Baguio community. Your passion and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to our continued success.

As we move forward, let us draw inspiration from the timeless words of our founder, Bishop Brent, whose vision continues to resonate with us even 115 years later: “Human strength is of a threefold character – physical, mental, spiritual. Each aspect of strength is more or less dependent upon and sensitive to the condition of the other two.”

In keeping with this philosophy, let us embrace a holistic approach to education, nurturing not just the mind but also the body and spirit. Together, as a Brent family, may we rise above challenges, grow intellectually, physically, and spiritually, and thrive throughout this school year.

In closing, I extend my heartfelt wishes for each day of this academic journey to be filled with encouragement and support as we strive to be the best version of ourselves at Brent.

Sincerely,

Dr. Celeste Engler
