Tuesday, February 3
• CAS Assembly – Thank you to the CAS team, faculty and students for setting the tone for purposeful engagement and service.
• Grade 6–7 Field Trip to Baguio Country Club (Flora and Fauna) – A valuable experiential learning opportunity connecting classroom learning with environmental awareness. Thank you to our faculty, Teacher Mahi Imamura and Teacher Nicolai!

Wednesday, February 4
• Filipino Day Chapel and Cultural Performances – A heartfelt celebration of Filipino heritage through prayer, music, dance, and student presentations.

Friday, February 6
• We extend our warm thanks to our students, faculty, staff, and families for a meaningful and joyful Filipino Day celebration. We especially appreciate all parents/families who supported the booths and took the time to attend and celebrate with the community. Our gratitude as well to Binibini Nelly Doliente, the Filipino Language classes, and the Gr 10 Music class, together with the Office and Maintenance Team, faculty, and student performers, whose collective efforts made the celebration rich in culture, collaboration, and shared pride.

Upcoming Activities and Key Dates

Monday, February 9 – Day 1
• Regular classes and Amazing Race experience for Grade 5 and 9 students.

Tuesday, February 10 – Day 2
• Long Homeroom| Grade 10 Information Session | 7:50–8:30 a.m. | Little Theatre

All Grade 10 students and parents/guardians are required to attend the Grade 10 Information Session as we prepare for the transition to Grades 11 and 12.

This session will introduce the three academic pathways available:

  • Brent Diploma

  • Brent Diploma + IB Course Results

  • Brent Diploma + IB Diploma

University admissions considerations related to each pathway will also be discussed. Attendance of both the student and a parent/guardian is required.

  • Long Homeroom: PreK-Grade 9 | Grade 11 and 12 | Brent Day Practice

  • NHS Valentine’s Non-Uniform Day | Wear red, white or pink | Php50 pesos to support the NHS Legacy Project fundraiser

Wednesday to Friday, February 11–13 – Middle School Camp | Middle School Camp 2026 | February 11–13

Our Middle School students from Brent Baguio and Brent Subic are gearing up for Middle School Camp 2026, happening on February 11–13 at the Brent Baguio campus and Mount Camisong.

Anchored on the theme “Lead by Serving,” the camp brings together students from both campuses for three days of meaningful connection, teamwork, and adventure. Students can look forward to:

  • Cross-campus team-building challenges

  • Trail and sustainability activities at Mount Camisong

  • Creative workshops and hands-on learning

  • Reflection sessions, movie night, and shared community moments

  • An Amazing Race–style activity that encourages collaboration and fun

Baguio students will participate as day campers, while Subic students and faculty will stay at the Brent Guest House, making this a unique opportunity to build friendships and create lasting memories across campuses.

• Middle School Camp continues at Camisong (8:00 AM)
• House Games: Badminton (Boys, Girls, and Mixed Doubles – Beginners and Seniors)

Friday, February 13 – Day 3
• Middle School Camp Amazing Race on campus
• Dismissal for Middle School Camp participants: 1:00 PM (Parent pick up)

Wednesday, February 18 – Day 2
• Classes suspended by the City Mayor
– Offices remain open
– Pre-K to Grade 10: Learning packets will be provided using the most appropriate means (printed packets for PreK–8 or Google Classroom for Grades 9–10), mindful of screen time and access
– Grades 11–12: Catch-up day for IB and subject requirements; students may message teachers via Google Chat within office hours
