Rain could not stop the action as the Brent International School Baguio Boys’ and Girls’ Volleyball Teams took to the court for tune-up games against Berkeley School on October 9 at the Brent gymnasium. Despite the persistent rain, both teams embraced the opportunity to compete, using the games as valuable preparation for the season ahead. The matches provided players with an opportunity to put their training into practice, sharpen their skills, and gain valuable experience in a competitive setting.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP INDUCTION
Junior Council, Student Council, Homeroom Class Officers, and House Heads and Leaders for School Year 2026–2027 were formally inducted during a special chapel service on September 9 that brought together student leaders from across the school, recognizing their new roles as representatives of their classmates and members of the wider Brent community.
BUILDING CHARACTER BEYOND INTELLECT: THE ACADEMIC INTEGRITY ASSEMBLY
On October 8, 2026, students gathered at the Chapel for the Academic Integrity Assembly—a crucial workshop dedicated to reinforcing the values of honesty, scholarship, and personal responsibility. Framed by Ralph Waldo Emerson’s timeless reminder that "Character is higher than intellect," the assembly underscored that true academic success is built on a foundation of integrity.
BRENT BULLETIN ISSUE No. 4, 2026-2027
The past week has asked all of us to be especially flexible. Beginning Friday, August 28, changing weather and travel conditions required us to move from our regular school schedule to hybrid learning, followed by the long weekend for National Heroes’ Day and Baguio Day, and then another combination of hybrid and Flexible Learning days this week.

Based on the current weather conditions and advisories, Brent Baguio will shift to fully online Flexible Learning tomorrow, Thursday, September 3 – Day 1.
In-Person Classes on Wednesday, September 2, 2026
A quick heads-up for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2: based on the latest weather information, we will proceed with in-person Day 2 classes. We are very mindful that some families may still be experiencing travel disruptions or may not yet have been able to return to Baguio from the lowlands.
