Warm greetings, Brent Baguio community.
As we begin another active week, we extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to the meaningful academic, co-curricular, and community experiences of April 13–19. We also look ahead to the exciting activities ahead as we move into Arts Festival week.

Brent Historical Sketching Tour
Our sincere thanks to Mr. Gabe Mercado for leading the Brent Historical Sketching Tour and guiding participants through a thoughtful and creative exploration of our campus. His session invited our community to slow down, observe closely, and appreciate Brent’s heritage and natural beauty through sketching.
We are also grateful to our students and participants for engaging so meaningfully in this experience, and for capturing Brent’s spaces with such care and reflection.
We acknowledge our Grade 12 students and teachers for the continued administration of the Mock Examinations, and our Grade 3–10 students and faculty for the start and continuation of MAP Testing last week.
On Monday, April 13, Brent Baguio hosted a special screening of The Foresters: A Story of Climate Keepers in partnership with MAD Travel Philippines. We were honored to welcome Raf Dionisio, founder of MAD Travel and a TOYM awardee, who shared this powerful documentary highlighting forest restoration and community-led environmental action. The event brought together members of our Brent community along with partners from CEPMO, University of the Cordilleras, Baguio Tourism Council / Pine Cone Movement, Baguio Benguet Birders, private sector and sustainability groups. Our sincere thanks to our Global Issues Network (GIN) students for leading the introduction and helping frame this meaningful learning experience. A fitting way to celebrate Earth Day—grounded in stewardship, collaboration, and hope for our environment
On Wednesday, April 15, we gathered for the Grade 9/10 RS Chapel with Lower School Camp Reflections Sharing, a meaningful opportunity for students to reflect on their experiences and growth.
We also acknowledge the House Games: Ultimate Frisbee for Seniors and Juniors held on Thursday, April 16, and thank those who helped make the activity both enjoyable and well-organized.
On Friday, April 17, we thank the Youth Leaders’ Club for organizing the Yard Sale at the Neutral Area. It was a lively community event that highlighted student initiative and leadership.
Our appreciation as well to the boarding team for the Dorm Trip to Puerto de San Juan from April 18–19, which provided students with a valuable opportunity for bonding and shared experiences beyond campus.
