We’re delighted to look back at the exciting events and accomplishments at Brent from September 18 to 21:
On Wednesday, September 18, both Middle and Upper School students attended an insightful SEL assembly focused on understanding and managing misinformation and gossip. Special thanks to Ms. Almae for guiding the students through such an important topic.
The Lower School also gathered for their assembly, which highlighted the values of community and gratitude. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Jenn and the LS team for their dedication.
Our Wednesday clubs kicked off successfully, and ISAC Volleyball parents gathered to discuss the upcoming season. Thank you, Ms. Nicolai, for leading the meeting and getting things underway.
Grade 6 students had a wonderful cultural afternoon, enjoying a visit from the Salibi Cultural Group, which combined art and tradition. We appreciate Ms. Geraldine for facilitating this enriching experience.
Meanwhile, Annie Jr. rehearsals continued, with the cast working through scenes 1-6. Kudos to our fantastic production team of students and faculty for their hard work!
Thursday, September 19, saw the faculty holding their weekly meeting, while Heads of Departments across all Brent campuses collaborated on action planning. Students ramped up their Pep Rally preparations, with Red, Yellow, and Blue Houses practicing enthusiastically. It was great to see the spirit and energy of our houses!
On Friday, September 20, Friday clubs started, and the Annie Jr. cast rehearsed scenes 7-11. Another round of thanks to the Annie Jr. production team for their dedication.
Finally, on Saturday, September 21, we celebrated a successful Brent Invitational! Our Bulldogs volleyball teams, both boys and girls, performed well and we are proud of them! We hosted 10 teams and around 200 people at the gym. A huge thank you to Ms. Nicolai for her superb organization, and to all the teams, coaches, faculty, departments, and volunteers for their incredible support.
A special mention to our Grade 12 Homeroom officers and advisors (Ms. Alex, Bb. Nelly, and Ms. Donna) and the STUCO team (members, officers, and advisors Mr. James and Ms. Nicolai) for their fantastic fundraising efforts.
And a big thank you to our wonderful PTA, led by Mrs. Tina Campos, for managing the food booths and offering such delicious treats. Well done, everyone!
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to more exciting events ahead!
Warm regards,
—
