Spotlight on a Brentonian: Jed Cunanan is a member of the BISB Class of 2019

Mr. Jed Cunanan, a member of the BISB class of 2019 participated in the recently concluded float parade of the Panagbenga : The Baguio Flower Festival. His comic book themed float featured himself dressed up as the Joker, and a life-size figure of Batman created using paper mache. This lifesize feature of the caped crusader was one his IB Art Projects as a student at Brent.

Ensuring Campus Security and Student Safety

The security and well-being of our community remain a top priority. Our security team continues to enforce strict protocols and monitor access points to maintain a safe and orderly campus. We ask for everyone’s cooperation in following school policies and reporting any concerns to staff or security personnel.

🔹 Student Dismissal and Safety
To help ensure student safety, we kindly remind parents that students who are not participating in a supervised after-school activity should leave campus promptly after dismissal. Security has observed some students remaining on campus late into the evening, particularly during unstructured time after school, when there is no organized school activity. As faculty and staff may not be available to provide supervision beyond school hours, we appreciate your support in ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.

🔹 How You Can Help
✔ Arrange for timely pick-up after school.
✔ Ensure students not in activities go home immediately.
✔ Notify security or the Headmaster’s Office of any changes in pick-up plans.

Your support helps keep Brent a safe and secure environment for all.

Let’s have a good week, Bulldogs!

Dr. Celeste R. Engler
