Dear Brent Community,

As we head into the weekend, we continue to keep everyone’s safety in mind with the developing weather system. Thank you for your support, cooperation, and readiness as we adjust to ensure safety and learning.

Model United Nations (MUN) Locals – Ongoing
Our Brent delegates are currently representing our school at the MUN Locals in Brent Manila, which runs from November 7 to 8. Guided by faculty chaperones Mr. James Young and Mrs. Almae Caluya-Tugas, our students continue to engage in thoughtful discussion, diplomacy, and collaboration with peers from other Brent campuses. They will be returning tomorrow at noon. We are wishing them safe travels!

A big Bulldog thank-you to all students for your spirited participation and teamwork during House Games!

Global Issues Network (GIN) Beach Clean-Up – Postponed
Due to Typhoon Fung Wong, the GIN Beach Clean-Up and Conference in La Union has been postponed. We commend our students and mentors for their preparedness and look forward to rescheduling this meaningful event when conditions improve.

⚠️ Advisory and Learning Continuity: NO CLASSES ON MONDAY, NOV 10

Mayor Magalong has announced the suspension of classes on Monday, November 10, as a precautionary measure due to the ongoing weather system.

To support continued learning:

  • Lower School and Middle School students have received learning packets to bring home.

  • Upper School teachers have posted learning activities on Google Classroom.

Boarders on campus | We also assure the community that plans have been in place for our boarders in preparation for the typhoon. This includes securing our campus. Brent Baguio has a generator, and essential staff including our dorm team, Engineer, Security, Nurse, Dining Hall staff, and IT representatives are all on-campus housing to ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our boarders.

We have a safety plan and remain in full coordination with local authorities and are closely monitoring updates from PAGASA and the City Government.

Please continue to check your emails and BASIS for further advisories.
