After decades of laughter and play, the lower school playground received a remarkable upgrade, thanks to the visionary leadership of Mr. Dick Robbins, President and CEO of Brent Schools, Inc., and the passionate efforts of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).

The initiative to revamp our beloved playground was led by Dick Robbins, who recognized the importance of creating an inspiring space for our students to learn, grow, and have fun. Under his guidance, the project aimed to not only replace the aging equipment but also to reimagine the playground as a vibrant hub of activity and creativity.

Part of the funding for this ambitious endeavor was made possible through the dedicated efforts and generosity of Mr. Dick Robbins, Arch. Rolly Bautista , Mr. Michael Lindsay, the PTA, and friends of the Brent Community. As of May 2024, a total of US$21,925.97 has been raised towards our target of US$50,000.00. Contributions are most welcome and it will help us reach our goal to ensure that the playground becomes a dynamic hub for our students and some community organized events.

The result of this collaborative effort is truly spectacular. The new playground boasts state-of-the-art equipment that promotes physical activity, imagination, and social interaction. From colorful climbing structures to interactive play panels, every element has been carefully chosen to engage and inspire our students.

Moreover, the upgraded playground reflects our commitment to sustainability and safety. Environmentally friendly materials and modern safety features ensure that our children can play freely and securely.

It was formally blessed on May 3, 2024 in a simple yet meaningful ceremony. As this new chapter in the history of Brent International School, Baguio, we celebrate not just a playground but a symbol of community spirit and dedication. It’s a testament to what we can achieve when we come together for the benefit of our children’s future. The playground is more than a place to play; it’s a space where memories are made and friendships are formed, enriching the educational experience for generations to come.
