In view of Memorandum Circular No. 122 issued by the Office of the President and the continuing effects of Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon, Brent International School Baguio will suspend school opening activities and office operations on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

As a result, we have made the following adjustments to our school opening schedule. Our Open House, originally scheduled for Friday, August 7, will be moved to Monday, August 10, to allow us to safely welcome our families and ensure that all preparations are completed.

Our revised schedule is as follows:

• Thursday, August 6 – School opening activities and office operations are suspended.
• Friday, August 7 – Faculty Orientation and school opening preparations will continue.
• Monday, August 10 – Open House and Parent Orientation sessions.
• Tuesday, August 11 – First day of classes, beginning with the Day 2 schedule.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we make these necessary adjustments. Our faculty and staff will use Friday to complete preparations so that we can warmly welcome our students and families on Monday and begin the school year together on Tuesday.

The safety and well-being of our students, families, faculty, staff, and the entire Brent community remain our highest priority. Please continue to monitor official weather advisories and take the necessary precautions.
