Dear Brent Community,

As we move into the final and busiest weeks of the school year, we give thanks for the many meaningful activities that took place last week and look ahead to the important events, assessments, celebrations, and preparations that will bring the school year to a close.

Acknowledgements: May 4–9

We thank everyone who supported another full and meaningful week of learning, assessment, leadership, service, and community engagement.

IB Examinations continued throughout the week, and ESL Level Tests began for Grades 6/7 and 10.

We acknowledge our Student Council candidates for delivering their STUCO speeches and for stepping forward in the spirit of student leadership and service.

Thank you to everyone who supported the CAS Assembly and the Middle School Pitching and Mentoring Session.

On Friday, May 8, we thank the JCO for leading the Non-Uniform Day and Bring-Your-Stuffed-Toy-to-School Day. We also acknowledge our Grade 9 students for their continued outreach activity with the elders of Rippling River Nursing Home, and thank everyone who supported the Study Abroad Information Session for Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

On Saturday, May 9, we had a lively community day on campus. We especially thank the PTA for leading the Yard Sale at the Gym, as well as everyone who supported the 5th Football Friendly Games. We also thank the speakers and organizers of the Cacao and Coffee Talk, “Grow Local, Make Local, Buy Local,” featuring Dr. Aliya Peleo, Dr. Amador IV Peleo, and Engr. Judy Baucas at St. Nicholas Chapel. The day brought together school spirit, community enterprise, meaningful conversation, and local advocacy. Thanks to Debbie Bangsoy and Ryan Yoon, Grade 11 students for emceeing.

Saturday, May 9 5th Football Friendlies

Last Saturday, May 9, Brent Baguio hosted the 5th Football Friendlies with 10 participating teams. The event ran from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and showcased great sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination from all players involved. Despite the rainy weather throughout the afternoon, the athletes continued to compete with heart, resilience, and passion for the game.

Thank you to all participating schools, coaches, and referees who helped make the event successful. We are proud of the effort, discipline, and sportsmanship shown by our student-athletes both on and off the field. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the PTA for partially sponsoring the event and supporting our football community.

Good job, Bulldogs!

Congratulations to all our Football Athletes:
