As part of  Career Week 2026, a special assembly and panel discussion centered on the theme “Create. Connect. Contribute.”

The assembly gave students an opportunity to look beyond job titles and consider the experiences, relationships, and values that shape a meaningful career. Joining the conversation were Mrs. Jingle Melanie Marquez, Ms. Maria Elena Catajan, and Arch. Dulthe Munar, who shared perspectives drawn from their respective professional journeys.

The discussion explored three interconnected ideas: Finding Your Voice, Building Your Craft, and Creating an Impact. Students were encouraged to think about how people discover their strengths and interests, develop confidence in expressing their ideas, and ultimately find their own voice.

The conversation also turned to what it takes to become better at one’s craft. Through questions about practice, failure, mentorship, and meaningful connections, the panel invited students to recognize that growth is rarely a straight path. Developing a career involves not only ability, but also the willingness to learn from experience and from the people encountered along the way.

Looking toward the future, the panel challenged students to consider their place in an ever-changing world of work: What should young people hold on to, and how can they use their creativity and skills to make a meaningful difference?

Career Week 2026 reminds our students that preparing for the future is about more than choosing a profession. It is about discovering who they are, continually developing what they can do, building meaningful relationships, and finding ways to contribute to the world around them.
