Dear Brent family,
What a wonderful way to end this week with our UN Cultural Assembly this morning by the National Honor Society and our UN Dress Up Day!
Thank you to our NHS officers, members, and advisers Bb. Nelly Doliente and Ms. Abbey Diwas for hosting a well prepared, inspiring and heartwarming assembly!
Here is the recording of this morning’s assembly as well as the Padlet Link for today’s UN Dress Up Day submissions (deadline until 6 p.m. today).
Judging of the best attire will be based on the following criteria:
Creativity |
Mix and match accessories and clothes which effectively represents the culture chosen |
Effort and Appeal |
Photo uploaded to the Padlet and the use of props and accessories effectively impact the overall presentation that is all culturally respectful |
Authenticity |
Does the outfit look like the real thing? |
For those who may have missed this week’s special UN chapel, here is the recording as well:
Next week’s UN activity will be an all-school assembly on Wednesday, October 27, by the Global Issues Network club. We will also be having a special assembly schedule for that day:
