As we enter the month of September, it’s hard to believe that we’ve already completed three weeks of school! The start of the school year has been filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of community. With many exciting events and activities coming up, let’s continue to build on the momentum we’ve created together.

No Classes | Baguio Day
Happy Baguio Day! Enjoy the festivities and the break from classes. Regular classes will resume on Tuesday, September 3, following a Day 1 schedule to align with other Brent campuses. -
Sep 3, Tuesday
Day 1 | MAP Testing begins
Best of luck to all students participating in the MAP Testing. Please ensure you are well-rested and prepared. Please refer to the detailed schedule available here. -
Sep 4, Wednesday
Day 2 | CAS Assembly at the St. Nicholas Chapel | 7:45-8:30
The CAS Assembly will provide important updates and reflections clubs that will be offered this semester. Parents are welcome to attend. -

Volleyball Games and Team Bonding: Let’s support our teams as they compete in friendly matches.

Grade 8 students will visit the Museo Kordilyera, a perfect opportunity to learn more about our local culture.

NHS Non-Uniform Day: A reminder that the National Honor Society will have a Baguio Day themed non-uniform fundraiser. More information to follow.

Part 2: Acknowledgments

On Wednesday, August 28, we held a Leadership Induction Chapel where our new student leaders, including JCo officers, STUCO officers, House Leaders, and Class Officers, were officially inducted in a ceremony attended by their proud parents.

Wednesday also featured a Parent Information Session (Grades 3-10), where Ms. Almae provided key insights into the MAP testing process, ensuring that our students are well-prepared.

Thursday, August 29, saw our Pep Rally Practices kick off with enthusiasm, thanks to the energy and spirit of our students and faculty.

On Friday, August 30, our student leaders participated in a Leadership Workshop facilitated by our faculty advisors (Bb. Nelly Doliente, Ms Almae Caluya, Mr. James Young, Mrs. Nicolai Carino), with special thanks to Ms. Joy Cascato for her inspiring session on the qualities of effective student leadership.

Later today, our CAS Bonding Team Building activity will provide an excellent opportunity for CAS students to strengthen bonds and foster teamwork. Thanks to Mrs. Nicolai Carino, Ms. Almae Caluya and Mr. James Young.
Thank you for your continued support and participation in our school community. As we celebrate Baguio Day, let’s take a moment to appreciate our beloved host city and all it offers. Enjoy the well-deserved three-day weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back, refreshed and ready for the exciting activities ahead.
