Dear Brent Community,

As we conclude Semester 1, we reflect on the many moments that have shaped our journey and strengthened our community. This semester, our theme of Practice Gratitude has been a guiding light, encouraging us to appreciate the growth, achievements, and connections we’ve built together.

To mark the end of Semester 1, we are delighted to share two special videos:

Tuesday, December 10, Day 2-  Long homeroom: Grade 9-12 Homeroom teachers will use this time to do the following:

1. Go over exam guidelines (Upper School)

2. Go over the  END OF SEM 1 MS/US SUBMISSION/EXAM Schedule

3. Discuss Christmas class party plans (Lower School, Middle School, Upper School)

4. Other end of semester reminders

For Middle School/Lower School

1. Middle School camp heads up

2. Discuss Christmas class party plans

5. Other end of semester reminders

Parents/guardians are kindly requested to pick up their children promptly at 2:45 p.m. as the Staff Christmas Fellowship will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please note, there will be no on-campus supervision after this time.

Friday, December 13, Day 1

• LS/MS Christmas class parties 3rd block (dismissal at 12:30)

• US Christmas class parties: Parents/guardians are asked to pick up students promptly unless they have a class Christmas party, which may occur between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

• END OF SEM 1 MS/US SUBMISSION/EXAM Schedule

Report Cards

• PK-3 Report Cards for the first semester will be mailed directly to parents on Friday, January 10, the first Friday of next semester.

• Grades 4-12 Report Cards will be accessible and downloadable on BASIS on Friday, January 10.

• Non-returning students: If your child will not return for Semester 2 and requires an early report card, please make a request to the Admissions Office by Monday, December 9.

LOWER SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT

COME AND WATCH the Lower School Production of Candy Cane Lane: A Recipe for Life, a heartwarming and festive musical that celebrates the joy and spirit of Christmas. This special event is also an opportunity to give back. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Redeemer Homeless Mission spreading the holiday spirit beyond the stage. 

Performance Details:

• Dates: December 11 and 12, 2024

• Time: 6:00 PM

• Location: St. Nicholas Chapel, Brent International School Baguio

Important Reminders for Students during performance nights:

• Main Cast CALL TIME: 4:30 PM

• All Other Students: 5:00 PM

As we near the close of Semester 1, let us continue to embrace the spirit of gratitude that has guided us throughout this term. We are deeply appreciative of the dedication shown by our students, the unwavering support of our families, and the hard work of our teachers and staff.
