SEPTEMBER 14-18, 2026 AND UPCOMING ACTIVITIES

Dear Brent Community,

We close another full week on campus grateful for the energy and activity that have returned to our classrooms, assemblies, clubs, rehearsals, athletics, and community gatherings.

This week also reminded us how much of school life happens beyond the classroom—through parent partnership, the arts, athletics, service, and opportunities for students to work together. Thank you to our faculty, staff, students, parents, and volunteers who continue to make these experiences possible.

Acknowledgments | September 14–18

Monday, September 14 – Day 2

Our Little Mermaid Jr. cast continued rehearsals, while our Lower School Production students continued their Acting Workshop as preparations for this year’s productions gathered momentum.

Tuesday, September 15 – Day 1

We officially began our regular Club Program, giving students opportunities to explore interests, develop new skills, and engage with one another beyond their regular academic classes.

Our Lower School students also participated in an orientation on the Student Orange Card, while The Little Mermaid Jr. continued rehearsals during Long Homeroom.

Wednesday, September 16 – Day 2

Thank you to all the parents who joined us for our PTA Assembly and Parent Information Session.

We also formally inducted our PTA officers for the year. We are grateful to our parent representatives for volunteering their time and for supporting the partnership between home and school.

Thursday, September 17 – Day 1

Our Houses continued preparations for the upcoming Pep Rally, with students and House leaders working together on their presentations, spirit, and activities.

Friday, September 18 – Day 2

Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s particularly full campus schedule run smoothly.

Brent Baguio was pleased to support the closing activities of the Indigenous Theologies and Advocacy Gathering: Land, Language, Ceremony, and Change, hosted by the Episcopal Diocese of North Central Philippines. We welcomed approximately 300 visitors, including representatives from 13 countries, across St. Nicholas Episcopal Church and other parts of campus.

At the same time, regular classes continued, we welcomed our Brent Subic guests in preparation for Brent Cup, and our teams began vendor ingress and campus preparations for Saturday’s events.

Our Season 1 student-athletes participated in Team Building, providing another opportunity to strengthen communication, teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie beyond competition.

Boarding students will close the day with Pizza Making with Manong Benny from 6:30–8:00 PM.

Special thanks to our Security, Maintenance, Operations, faculty, staff, students, and families for their cooperation, patience, and hospitality throughout a very busy day.

MAP Testing Completed | September 14–17

Our students completed MAP Testing from September 14–17. Thank you Ms. Almae Caluya and to our teachers, students, and support teams for helping the testing period run smoothly. The results will provide another useful snapshot of student learning and growth, helping teachers identify strengths, areas for support, and next steps in instruction.
