C. Gradebooks on BASIS: Below is the link to the instructions on how to access, view and download your child’s Mid Semester Reports via the BASIS Parent Portal. If you have any trouble logging into your parent portal account or student portal account, please don’t hesitate to contact Mr. Kurt Salvador via email at: Kurt Salvador <kurt.salvador@brentbaguio.edu.ph>.

  • Accessing the BASIS Parent Portal Instructions.

  • Using an ‘M’ when computing the running grade has a significant impact on the average grade.  However, the ‘M’ mark can be updated once your child / ward submits his or her missing work or completes any outstanding requirements. For subjects of concern, we highly recommend and encourage you to check emails from your child’s teacher

  • Teachers will be sending follow up notes for students with missing work. Also BASIS gradebooks are being updated.

Kindly note however, that BASIS will be undergoing a maintenance run starting Friday, November 12, 2021 @ 6pm to Sunday November 14, 2021 @ 11:59pm. During this period, BASIS may or may not be available. It is therefore suggested that the checking of your child’s Mid Semester Reports be done starting on Monday November 15, 2021 when BASIS will be in full operational capacity.

3. Lower School Reading Awareness Week

This November we will be having Reading Awareness Week, to celebrate the National Reading Month. A Lower School assembly will be held to revisit the value of reading more and the connections we build from the books we read. Get ready to join our Read-A-Thon, book trivia games, and a dress-up day contest featuring well-loved book characters. Our LS students also have the opportunity to join in a virtual author visit, an event made possible by the collaboration of Brent Manila and Brent Baguio Media Centers. We’re excited to learn more about books from authors and from our fellow Brentonians!

4. Clubs: Last day of clubs: December 3, Friday.

5. Here’s cheering for our Grade 11 and 12 Active Brains, Active Bodies Program November-December

6. International Training | Faculty Development: As lifelong learners, 19 of our faculty will be attending their second session on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) with Katie Novak on November 13, 2021. This is hosted by the  East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS). We look forward to learning best practices and mindsets that will continue to support the quality delivery of the Brent education experience and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
