07 August 2020. For the school year 2020-2021, at this time of distance learning, we continue with our strong commitment to our mission and the Brent Education Framework. We are proud to present to you our Magic Mountain in the Cloud (MMC) program.
Brent International School Baguio has decided to start the school year online. We believe that, given the ongoing uncertainties looking forward, it will be both safest and least disruptive to students’ education if we start online. Families face a wide array of circumstances, and we want to give everyone time to plan now without waiting until mid August. Online instruction will likely continue through the first quarter, but we are prepared to transition to in-person instruction quickly should circumstances significantly improve.
We have had to revise next year’s school calendar a second time. The first day of classes will be Monday August 24. This will be the start date whether we meet face-to-face or are required to start online.

Dear Brent Families, While we are finalizing the next steps to ensure a good finish for this school year with our Home Learning Program, we look forward to preparations for the school year 2020-2021! I understand that completing the Reservation and Re-enrollment Form and accompanying payment for the 2020-2021 school year has been difficult for some families during the enhanced quarantine. To help, we are extending the deadline to June 10, 2020. Having this information is helpful for our future planning. Once again let me first express my gratitude to the entire Brent community for your strength and courage during these difficult times. Originally we had hoped to be back in regular classes by this date, however the extension of the Enhanced Quarantine by the President, and the suspension of classes by the Baguio City mayor has made it impossible to do so.
